My blog is pointed to my home domain folder and wordpress is in a sub-folder.. when I use the plugin it shows the site in format site.com/subfolder with a dead link at the top to my index page for the sub directory.. how do I get your plugin to point to the proper index page while being posted in wordpress under a subdirectory?

hi there,
want to ask..
instead of making the icons horizontal, can u make an option to make it appear as vertical as well.
having these set of icons in the middle or bottom of the left side, vertically is nice.

Hi Neo, showing the buttons in a vertical axe is expected for next version.
Hi Loane,
I love your soc. media buttons! But I am not sure how you go about changing the size of these buttons. I looks to me that that is an option. Can you help me with that? I have it installed in this size but would like to use it in small, rectangular version.

Hi Elenab, In Admin Panel, you have to go to ‘Settings’ and then ‘Fixed Social Buttons’ to configure the plugin. You will be able to choose your buttons style as it’s shown in the screenshot.

This plugin is seriously awesome. I might replace my old sharing plugin with it. However, it lacks some options I was expecting. For example, Digg. Any plans to add to the list of supported sites?
I also just noticed, the plugin adds a ton of inline CSS to the page. Would you also consider implementing an external stylesheet? It would help save server and user bandwidth.
PS: I love the design of your site! It’s colorful, vibrant, eye-catching, intriguing, and just plain interesting. I want to just stare at it.

Hi,
I really like the look and style of the buttons but i would like to use the plugin for a different function, namely, i would like the facebook and twitter buttons to point to my own profiles on those social networks, not to share the site but to act as a kind of « follow me » « add me » button’s.
Is this at all possible? i tried editing the plugin through the wordpress edit plugin function but i couldn’t get it to work.

Thanks in advance for help.

Hi,
to JP : This option will be available in a future version. You’ll be able to promote your social profile instead of promoting your blog pages.
to Khadine : You have to fill the feed url if you have one. It’s may be yourblog.com/feed. If you don’t want to show it, you can disable the feed button.
Loane.

@Loane: Sweet, cache-ability = WIN. I wonder if you would consider moving the HTML for the actual buttons to the body tag in a future release; including it in the header results in über-invalid markup. The buttons should also be nearer the end of the HTML source for better compatibility with screen readers and other accessibility software.
@Lex: I think there’s a glitch with your theme or a plugin conflict. My About page has a list of my plugins that might help you eliminate some suspects.

Hi Buffy, you should Go to **Settings** and then **Fixed Social Buttons** to configure the plugin. If you don’t find it, the link would be yoursite.com/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=fixed-social-buttons/fixed-social.php
Very nice plugin. It really rocks. Like JP, it would be great if we could promote our facebook fun page. As it’s now possible with Twitter.
Keep on.

I love these buttons. I have two sites and use them on both! Thank you so much!

You should make the icons one png file and use background position, this will improve performance and make it so there is only one download request…. will speed things up.. great plugin non the less!
Brilliant support so far. I love this plug-in and recommended highly to all my friends, there’s just no better way to add links to your social web profiles on ones blog.
I have one request tho. With the launch of Google Buzz, having a link to your google profile on your blog for others to follow is becoming something that’s significantly more important than it was before.
Is there a way for the author to add support for google profiles?
Have you responded? I didn’t see it…Not sure if I should look here or in my email box…
I have two blogs, and I love these buttons. They are such a great design. WONDERFUL, THANK YOU!
I use them vertically. Problem is, the first one covers my button for the HOME page. I did’nt’ design the blog theme at Oscar Prep, so I don’t really wish to move anything with the blog theme.
IS IT POSS TO MOVE THE BUTTONS ABOUT 10 px lower, in postion on the page. From the very top? Still remaining all the way to the right, but starting just a bit lower down?
Thank you very much…
